About the GetTested Alcohol Test

The GetTested Alcohol Test is a rapid screening tool designed to estimate blood alcohol concentration (BAC) using a saliva sample. It is well established that alcohol concentration in saliva closely reflects that in blood, the test provides an accurate indication of alcohol presence. The reaction is based on a specific enzymatic process that produces a distinct color change proportional to the detected alcohol level.

How to Use the Test

1. Remove the test device from its sealed pouch and place it on a clean, flat surface.
2. Apply saliva to the reaction pad and wait approximately 3–5 minutes.
3. Compare the color change on the reaction pad to the reference chart printed on the foil packaging to estimate relative BAC.

Understanding Your Test Results

• Positive: A color change indicates the presence of alcohol in the saliva. The color intensity corresponds to a relative BAC range from approximately 0.02% to 0.30%.
• Negative: No visible color change indicates that no alcohol is detected.
• Invalid: If the color pad fails to react or changes unevenly, the test result should be considered invalid.

Accurate handling is essential to ensure dependable results. The GetTested Alcohol Test detects alcohol concentrations in the range of 0.02%–0.30% BAC and is designed to respond specifically to alcohol compounds while being minimally influenced by other substances in saliva.
