IL2RA

IL2RA (Interleukin 2 Receptor Alpha): IL2RA, also known as CD25, is part of the receptor complex for interleukin-2, a cytokine essential for T-cell proliferation and differentiation. This receptor plays a key role in regulating the immune response, including the development and function of regulatory T cells that help prevent autoimmune diseases. Dysregulation of IL2RA or its signalling pathway can contribute to autoimmune conditions and is a target in immunotherapy, especially in cancer and transplant medicine.
